Strong Partners sees live who has capacity
At Strong Partners, managing the team ran on rough estimates for a long time – and stayed blind to what really mattered: who is at what workload right now, who is close to tipping over, where is there still room?
With clockin, the Münster-based sport and health company finally has a basis for managing the team that keeps pace with its growth.

Paula Menninghaus is co-founder and CEO of Strong Partners, which she co-founded in 2019. As part of the management team she is responsible, together with co-founder Johannes Yazigi, for day-to-day operations – and knew for a long time that time tracking was not keeping pace with the company's growth.
With clockin she found a solution that the team experienced as a relief from day one. Today clockin is a fixed part of her weekly management meeting.

This is Strong Partners
Strong Partners is a young company from Münster that supports businesses with workplace primary prevention – from sports classes and active breaks to nutrition workshops, burnout prevention and return-to-work support.
The interdisciplinary team of psychologists, physiotherapists, nutrition scientists and event managers looks after around 150 companies in the region, among them the Münster professional fire brigade, waste management operators, law firms and large corporations.
Since it was founded in 2019, Strong Partners has grown by around 60 per cent a year – and has deliberately built up its structures alongside.

ANGEPACKT – Der Podcast von clockin
What is worse than being unprofitable?
Paula Menninghaus founded her company at 18 with no business-school plan – and had to learn from day one how to steer a business through ups and downs. From punch cards and 12-hour night shifts in the ambulance service to the Covid shock with €37 in monthly revenue.
In this episode of “Angepackt” she talks to Caro about the road from the outdoor bootcamp “The Camp” at the Aasee to an established workplace health management company with almost 40 employees – and why sometimes it takes a doer's mentality not to freeze in “analysis paralysis”.
Less gut feeling, more overview
Once a week the management team at Strong Partners looks at workload together – and makes decisions there that used to be impossible: pulling tasks forward, scheduling days to ease the load, distributing capacity deliberately. clockin provides the data basis for that which Excel never had.
- Live overview: See straight away who is working right now and who still has time for new projects
- Data instead of guesswork: Capacity planning based on real figures
- Shorter meetings: Weekly management rounds run more concretely than before
“Our weekly management rounds now have much more to do with real data and much less with gut feeling.”
— Paula Menninghaus, CEO & Co-Founder of Strong Partners
Costing quotes that actually add up
At Strong Partners there is real working time behind every quote – and how much that really was could only be estimated before. With clockin it can be evaluated per project how many hours were actually spent – and those findings feed straight into the next costing.
- Examine project effort: See exactly where the team's working hours are going.
- Correct estimates: Compare quote and reality directly to stop miscalculations.
- Avoid working at a loss: Steer in good time before projects become unprofitable.
“Maybe we even made a loss on a project – and had no idea.”
— Paula Menninghaus, CEO & Co-Founder of Strong Partners
A relief, not surveillance
At Strong Partners there is no attendance requirement – instead the company relies on full trust and maximum flexibility. The feedback from the team was clear: from the psychologist to the event manager, everyone experiences it as a relief.
- Flexibly set up: Individual working time models and hours accounts can be mapped without difficulty
- Making overtime visible: Take it off or have it paid out – the choice is the employee's
- No resistance: Not a single piece of negative feedback from the workforce since the switch
“Really right across the board – it is seen as a relief, not as surveillance.”
— Paula Menninghaus, CEO & Co-Founder of Strong Partners
