Frederik, managing director of a digital agency in Münster, met Thomas in 2018. Thomas, owner of a traditional trades business, described his frustration with paperwork chaos:
- Friday evenings at the desk
- Timesheets – illegible, full of gaps, lost somewhere in the van
- Job documentation on scraps of paper that have to be typed up.
Frederik and Thomas looked for a solution that fit and did not find one. So, in pragmatic Westphalian fashion, they decided to build one themselves.
Shortly after the website goes live, the first home care service signs up. It becomes clear: Thomas's problems are not those of a sewer repair specialist from Ahlen. They are the problems of millions. Tradespeople. Carers. Restaurateurs. Construction companies.
