What is the difference between clockin and ZEP?

Both tools offer digital time tracking and project time tracking. ZEP was originally developed for agencies and consulting firms and puts the emphasis on job costing, resource planning and invoicing. clockin grew out of everyday practice in the skilled trades and combines time tracking with mobile project documentation, checklists and AI features. Shift planning is available in clockin, but not in ZEP.

Is clockin more expensive than ZEP?

ZEP starts at €2/user/month on the ZEP Clock plan, but it includes neither a DATEV integration nor absence management and overtime, and therefore does not cover the legal requirements. At ZEP, both features cost an extra euro per user each, which already brings you to €4/user per month. clockin bundles time tracking, absence management and the DATEV integration into the basic plan from €3.59/user/month.
